1. Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-08-13 ยท Effective 2026-09-01

Current Scoring Leaders LLC ("CSL," "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This section explains what personal data we collect, why, how we protect it, and what choices you have.

What we collect

  • Inquiry data โ€” name, email, project brief, budget range, deadline, and any optional phone number you include on our forms.
  • Newsletter data โ€” email only, used solely to deliver the newsletter you signed up for.
  • Payment data โ€” handled by Stripe and Formspree. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or bank credentials.
  • Usage analytics โ€” anonymized page views via Cloudflare Web Analytics (no third-party trackers, no fingerprinting).
  • Music samples you share with us โ€” reference tracks, briefs, scripts, mood references โ€” only for the purpose of fulfilling your project.

How we use it

We use your data strictly to (a) quote and deliver music commissions, (b) license tracks, (c) send the newsletter if you opted in, (d) respond to support inquiries, and (e) comply with tax and legal record-keeping obligations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data โ€” period.

Third-party services we use (and what they collect)

  • Formspree โ€” receives the inquiry form POST when you submit. They collect IP and User-Agent for spam filtering only.
  • Stripe โ€” payment processor. PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. Handles all card and ACH data; we never see the raw numbers.
  • Cloudflare โ€” CDN + DNS + Web Analytics. Anonymized traffic only; no fingerprinting.
  • Google Fonts โ€” typographic asset delivery. Google may log your IP against fonts.googleapis.com requests. If you prefer, disable via browser extension (e.g. uBlock Origin "block remote fonts").
  • Font Awesome โ€” icon CDN. Same IP-logging caveat as Google Fonts.

To opt out of all non-essential cookies, use a browser like Brave or Firefox with strict tracking protection, or install uBlock Origin with default filter lists.

3. Terms of Use

Last updated 2026-08-13 ยท Effective 2026-09-01

By using currentscoringleaders.com (the "Site") or engaging Current Scoring Leaders LLC ("CSL") for any music service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms.

Use of the Site

  • You may browse the portfolio and read the blog for personal or commercial research.
  • You may not scrape the catalog, mass-download audio files, republish tracks on third-party platforms, or use CSL content to train machine-learning models without written permission.
  • You may not attempt to reverse-engineer the player, EQ visualizer, or any other technical component.
  • You may not impersonate CSL or hold yourself out as an official partner without a signed agreement.

Use of the Service (commissions, retainers, licensing)

  • Catalog licensing is governed by the License Agreement you receive with each track โ€” see CSL_contracts.html for the template.
  • You must be 18+ or have a parent/guardian sign on your behalf.
  • You must have the right to provide any reference materials, scripts, lyrics, voice recordings, or brand assets you submit. You are responsible for any IP-infringement claims arising from materials you send us.

No warranty

The Site and any preview audio are provided "as is." We don't promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific preview track will remain available for licensing in the future.

Dispute resolution: We attempt to resolve any disagreement informally first โ€” email us at [email protected]. If we can't agree within 30 days, both parties agree to binding arbitration in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania under the AAA Commercial Rules, with each side bearing its own costs.
